Turmeric (Curcuma longa). This is a rich yellow spice. A very powerful antioxidant. Studies have shown that elderly people in India suffer from Alzheimer’s disease less than anyone else in the world. And scientists believe that turmeric is involved in this: Indians season almost all their dishes with it. A small amount of the spice stops the formation of platelets (the main enemy in memory problems). And it even promotes better memorization. It is most effective in the proportions used in cooking. You should add no more than ¼ or ½ spoon of turmeric to rice, beans or couscous.

Its composition is very rich in substances that attack viruses and bacteria. And this makes it simply invaluable in the cold season. By the way, studies have shown that garlic lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. Garlic is most useful in its raw form. However, in any form it will bring colossal benefits. It just needs to be chopped and put into salads, soups or hot sauces.

Sage (Salvia officinalis). This herb has antibacterial properties. In case of bronchitis and sinusitis, inhalations with sage will quickly put the patient back on his feet. It copes well with cough. In addition, it is an excellent additive for poultry and pork. It gives a characteristic taste to stews and soups.

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare). Fennel is usually sprinkled on bread and added to seafood salads. And it, in turn, eliminates bloating, gases and strengthens male potency. When cooking, you can use the stem and greens for main courses. You can add seeds to tomato-based sauces. Fennel also gives a special taste to marinades. Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum). Cinnamon is one of the most popular spices. It is very often used in cooking, adding to cookies, pies, cakes, buns. Along with this, cinnamon has health benefits. It is a powerful antioxidant, has an anti-inflammatory effect, normalizes blood sugar levels and blood pressure, reduces the amount of “bad” cholesterol.
