Products based on calorie content

Depending on calorie content, products are divided into 5 groups:

1 group. Very high-calorie – 450-900 kcal: butter and vegetable oils, nuts, halva, chocolate, puff pastries. Also fatty pork and raw smoked sausage.

2nd group. High-calorie – 200-450 kcal. These include cream, sour cream, fatty cottage cheese, cheese, pork, boiled sausage, sausages, geese and duck meat, fatty herring, saury, salmon, caviar. In addition, cereals, pasta, bread, sugar, honey, jam, sweets, ice cream.

3rd group. Moderately high in calories – 100-200 kcal. These are lamb, beef, rabbit and chicken meat, eggs, horse mackerel, mackerel, sardines, lean herring, sturgeon. Half-fat cottage cheese and milk ice cream.

4th group. Low-calorie – 30-100 kcal. Among them are milk, kefir, low-fat cottage cheese, fruits, berries, potatoes, beets, carrots, green peas. And also fish: cod, hake, pike perch, flounder, carp, pike.
